About this sound

This clip is the familiar coin pickup sound from Subway Surfers, the mobile endless runner game. It is a very short, bright chime that plays when a coin is collected, giving an instant sense of progress and reward. Because it is so clean and fast, creators use it to underline tiny wins, points appearing on screen, or a joke payoff that lands in less than a second. The sound feels playful and satisfying, so it works especially well in mobile game memes, quick montages, and clips where something valuable pops up.

This sound comes from Subway Surfers, the mobile endless runner released by Kiloo and SYBO in 2012. The coin pickup effect became recognizable through years of gameplay videos, mobile clips, and short-form edits that use game UI sounds for instant feedback. Online, it is often dropped into videos to suggest a small win, a collected item, or a satisfying point gain. Its staying power comes from how short, clear, and readable it is, even when layered into very fast edits.
