About this sound

A sharp horror stinger from the game Granny, used for sudden scares, reveal edits, and creepy meme moments when something appears out of nowhere.

This clip is the classic Granny jumpscare sting: a sudden, harsh horror sound that hits fast and loud, like the shock cue you hear when the enemy suddenly appears on screen. It has that familiar mobile horror-game feel, with an aggressive burst designed to make the viewer flinch immediately. Creators use it when a scary face pops up, when a character gets caught, or when a video needs an instant scare beat. Even in jokes, it works because the sound creates tension and panic in less than three seconds.

This sound is associated with Granny, the horror game released by DVloper in 2017. The game became widely known on mobile and through streamer reactions, and its jumpscare audio turned into a recognizable cue for sudden danger. Online, people use it beyond the original game in horror compilations, bait-and-switch edits, and scream-cut memes. It stays popular because the sound is short, instantly readable as a scare trigger, and easy to drop into videos that need the same kind of shock as a FNAF Jumpscare Scream.
