About this sound

The “I will send you to Jesus” meme sound features Steven He’s Asian Dad character, used to punctuate mock anger, threats, and dramatic reaction edits.

This short voice clip delivers the line “I will send you to Jesus” with an exaggerated, forceful tone. Associated with Steven He’s strict Asian Dad comedy character, the sudden threat turns frustration into an absurdly severe punchline. Its compact timing makes the audio especially effective after someone makes an obvious mistake, ignores advice, or pushes another person’s patience too far. The stern delivery creates tension for a moment, while the over-the-top wording signals that the scene is comedic rather than serious.

The quote is associated with comedian Steven He and his exaggerated Asian Dad character, whose stern reactions became widely shared as short meme clips. The audio circulated through reaction edits, gaming videos, remixes, and short-form posts because its abrupt delivery works as an instant punishment joke. It is closely related to the Emotional Damage meme, another widely recognized Steven He reaction. The line remains useful because viewers can understand its comic threat without needing the full original scene.
