About this sound

A short meme clip of someone saying “bruh, look at this dude,” from the viral WelvenDaGreat video, used to roast awkward faces and silly reveals.

This sound is the famous opening line “bruh, look at this dude,” delivered in a drawn-out, amused voice before the original clip breaks into laughter. The pause after “dude” gives it perfect comedic timing, which is why creators use it to spotlight a weird haircut, an unfortunate screenshot, or any moment that deserves playful ridicule. It lands fast, sounds instantly familiar to meme fans, and adds a reaction that feels mocking without needing a long setup. Even on its own, the line immediately signals that something embarrassing is about to be shown.

This clip comes from a viral video by internet personality WelvenDaGreat, widely shared online in the mid-2010s. The line spread through Vine-era meme compilations, reposts, reaction edits, and short roast videos, often paired with abrupt zooms or a shocked sound for extra emphasis. It stayed popular because the phrase is short, recognizable, and easy to drop before an embarrassing reveal. Even years later, creators still use it whenever they want a quick, familiar setup for visual mockery.
