About this sound

A Japanese voice meme built around the shouted phrase “Yamero, Takeshi,” meaning “Stop it, Takeshi.” Used in anime edits and chaotic reaction posts.

This extended voice clip centers on someone urgently saying “Yamero, Takeshi,” a Japanese phrase that translates roughly to “Stop it, Takeshi.” The forceful delivery gives the audio a dramatic, panicked quality, while its length lets the tension continue beyond a quick reaction sound. Creators often treat it as an exaggerated plea for someone to stop doing something reckless, annoying, or absurd. Its recognizable wording and escalating energy can turn an ordinary mistake, chaotic game moment, or questionable decision into a melodramatic meme scene.

“Yamero” is a forceful Japanese command meaning “stop,” while Takeshi is the person being addressed. The precise production, speaker, and original work behind this recording are not reliably documented, so it is best identified by the phrase itself rather than attributed to a specific anime or character. Online, the clip circulates through meme posts, reaction edits, and soundboards. It remains useful because the urgent Japanese delivery communicates alarm even to viewers who only recognize the phrase through internet culture.
