About this sound

The Heavy's "Incoming!" voice clip from Team Fortress 2, popular in SMG4 edits and gaming memes when something chaotic or dangerous is about to happen.

This short clip is the Heavy shouting "Incoming!" in his loud, urgent Team Fortress 2 voice. It hits fast, with a sharp warning tone that instantly tells the viewer something big, dumb, or explosive is about to happen next. In edits, it creates a quick burst of tension before a fail, attack, crash, or sudden reveal. Because the line is so short and recognizable, it works especially well in SMG4-style meme videos where fast pacing and exaggerated reactions are the whole joke.

This clip comes from Team Fortress 2, where Heavy has a voice line warning teammates about danger. Online, creators often reuse it in gaming memes and SMG4 videos because the delivery is short, clear, and instantly dramatic. It spread through remix culture on YouTube and soundboards, especially in edits that build toward a crash, attack, or absurd reveal. Its staying power comes from how easily it fits fast comedic timing, much like a vine boom sound or an MLG air horn in older meme editing styles.
