About this sound

The Super Smash Bros. style intro sound used in character reveal edits, roster memes and dramatic entrances when someone or something joins in.

This clip is the familiar Super Smash Bros. style reveal template where a new fighter dramatically “joins the battle.” It usually combines a fast build, a sharp transition and the iconic announcer-style payoff that makes any entrance feel big and official. The sound instantly frames a person, pet, object or joke as if it has just been unlocked in a fighting game roster. Viewers recognize it right away, so even a simple cut can feel more cinematic, hype and playful with almost no setup.

This sound comes from the character reveal style popularized by Super Smash Bros., especially the “joins the battle” presentation used in Nintendo promo videos and fan edits. Online, creators turned that format into a reusable template for introducing anyone from friends and pets to fictional characters and inanimate objects. It spread widely in short edits, reaction memes and parody trailers because the structure is instantly recognizable and gives even a low-stakes reveal a dramatic, game-like entrance. That same roster-style hype keeps it relevant years later.
