About this sound

The famous Shark Bait ooh ha ha chant from Finding Nemo, used in memes, edits and reaction clips for goofy introductions or chaotic reveals.

This sound is the short chant “Shark Bait, ooh ha ha,” a playful call shouted in Finding Nemo. It has a quick, punchy rhythm and an instantly recognizable group delivery that feels both silly and dramatic at the same time. Because the clip is so short, creators use it as a comedic cue for a character entrance, a weird discovery, or a setup that suddenly turns chaotic. It lands best when you want a scene to feel mischievous, unserious, and a little bit theatrical without needing a long audio sting.

This quote comes from the 2003 Pixar film Finding Nemo, where Nemo is nicknamed “Sharkbait.” The chant became memorable because of its unusual rhythm and the way fans repeated it long after the movie's release. Online, Shark Bait ooh ha ha spread through soundboards, short meme edits, and nostalgic movie references. It still gets used because it is brief, easy to recognize, and funny even without context, especially when paired with animal clips, awkward reveals, or playful reaction posts.
