About this sound

A short German voice clip saying "Ich hab nur eine Bier getrunken," often used in memes, drunk edits and chat audio jokes about denying being wasted.

This sound is a brief German voice clip built around the line "Ich hab nur eine Bier getrunken," delivered in a way that sounds defensive, tipsy and unintentionally funny. The wording itself is slightly off, which adds to the humor and makes the quote more memorable. People use it when a video shows someone clearly acting drunk, making excuses or pretending everything is under control. The clip lands because the calm denial clashes with what viewers expect, turning a simple sentence into a punchline.

This audio is best known online as a short German meme quote rather than a clearly credited scene from a film or show. It has circulated in meme edits, reposted clips and chat shares as a compact reaction for denial, drunken logic and awkward excuses. Its staying power comes from how quotable the line is and how easily it fits everyday situations where someone downplays what just happened. It is especially common in German-language meme spaces and in casual voice-message style sharing.
