About this sound

German clip of the catchy Lego Movie song "Everything Is Awesome," used in memes, edits and upbeat joke posts when everything feels weirdly perfect.

This sound is a short German-language excerpt of the bright, sugary chorus from The Lego Movie song known in English as "Everything Is Awesome." It has a bouncy, cheerful delivery and an intentionally over-the-top positivity that makes it funny in short edits. The clip instantly gives a scene a plastic, toy-box sense of happiness, which is why people use it both sincerely and ironically. It works especially well when a video shows perfect order, forced optimism, or a comically upbeat contrast to something obviously chaotic.

This clip comes from the German version of the song "Everything Is Awesome" from The Lego Movie, released in 2014. The tune became widely recognized beyond the film because of its relentlessly upbeat hook and its satirical, manufactured positivity. Online, the German chorus "Hier ist alles super" found a second life in short memes, remix edits, and ironic happy-posting. It is still used because the phrase is instantly readable even to non-German speakers and because the melody quickly signals cheerful perfection.
