This clip plays on the Freddy Fazbear “har har har” meme, a joke version of the creepy vocalizing fans associate with the Five Nights at Freddy’s mascot. It usually sounds like a short, silly chant or imitation layered with an eerie, familiar vibe, which makes it funny and unsettling at the same time. Creators use it when a scene suddenly turns suspicious, robotic or weirdly dramatic. The contrast between the goofy delivery and Freddy’s horror-game reputation gives the sound its punch in memes, reaction edits and gaming posts.

The meme comes from Freddy Fazbear, the animatronic mascot of the Five Nights at Freddy’s game series created by Scott Cawthon. Online, fans began exaggerating Freddy’s musical theme and vocal feel into the repeated “har har har” joke, which spread through short edits, TikTok posts and gaming memes. It remains popular because people instantly recognize Freddy, even from a very short audio cue. The sound often appears alongside other gaming meme staples such as Among us when creators want a quick, recognizable punchline.
