About this sound

A drawn-out comedic scream sound often labeled “augh augh,” used in memes, fails, and chaotic reaction edits when something goes very wrong.

This clip is a long, exaggerated scream that starts with repeated “augh” sounds and stretches into a full wail. It has a dramatic, over-the-top delivery that makes even a minor mistake feel like a total disaster. Creators use it as a reaction sound for awkward moments, sudden pain, bad luck, or clips where someone clearly regrets what just happened. The length gives editors room to let a fail breathe, and the raw, strained tone adds a mix of panic, comedy, and pure chaos to the scene.

This scream circulates online as a reaction audio commonly titled “augh” or “augh augh.” Its exact original source is often not credited when it is reposted, but the clip became recognizable through meme edits, short videos, and fail compilations. People keep using it because the repeated setup and extended scream make timing easy: you can hit the first sound on the mistake, then let the rest carry the embarrassment. It fills a similar role to other exaggerated reaction sounds such as sudden suspense in punchline-heavy edits.
