About this sound

A loud "You demon" scream clip used in meme edits, reaction videos and chaotic punchlines when something looks cursed, scary or wildly unexpected.

This sound is a drawn-out, panicked yell that peaks with the shouted line "You demon." It starts as an exaggerated scream and lands like a mock accusation, which makes it perfect for clips where someone or something suddenly seems creepy, chaotic or deeply cursed. The voice has a dramatic, over-the-top delivery that feels half terrified and half comedic, so it works well as a reaction button. Viewers usually read it as instant disbelief, fake horror or a playful way to call out bizarre behavior.

This clip circulates mainly as a reaction meme sound rather than a clearly documented quote with a widely agreed source. It spread through short-form edits, reposted soundboards and meme compilations where creators use the long scream and the "You demon" line for cursed reveals, uncanny faces and chaotic joke endings. Its staying power comes from how specific the wording is: it sounds more dramatic than a generic scream meme, but it is still broad enough to fit horror jokes, prank edits and exaggerated reactions across many formats.
