このサウンドについて

The classic Finish Him announcer line from Mortal Kombat, used in gaming edits, knockout clips, and memes to signal a dramatic final blow or defeat.

This short clip captures the unmistakable “Finish Him” command in a deep, forceful announcer voice. The delivery is abrupt and theatrical, turning a simple phrase into a cue for imminent defeat. Its compact length makes the line hit quickly without interrupting the action on screen. Viewers familiar with fighting games immediately recognize the stakes, while others read it as an exaggerated challenge. In edits, the sound adds tension, comedy, or mock finality just before a decisive hit, comeback, or embarrassing failure.

Finish Him comes from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, which debuted in arcades in 1992. In a match, the announcer delivers the command after a player defeats a male opponent, creating a brief opportunity to perform a finishing move known as a Fatality. The phrase became one of the franchise’s most recognizable audio cues. It later spread through gaming videos, reaction edits, remixes, and internet memes because its commanding delivery instantly frames an ordinary moment as a dramatic final confrontation.
