About this sound

This anime-style meme clip says yamete kudasai before an exaggerated ahh, commonly used for awkward jokes, dramatic reactions, and sudden punchlines.

This brief voice clip features an anime-style delivery of the Japanese phrase “yamete kudasai,” followed by an exaggerated ahh. The phrase means “please stop,” but the dramatic vocal performance gives it a deliberately over-the-top and comedic tone. Its abrupt progression from a recognizable phrase to a loud reaction makes the audio effective as a surprise punchline. Viewers often recognize it as part of anime meme culture, where heightened voices and out-of-context dialogue are used to make ordinary situations feel absurd, uncomfortable, or melodramatic.

“Yamete kudasai” is a Japanese expression commonly translated as “please stop.” Although this clip is widely framed as anime meme audio, its specific original production and performer are not reliably established.
