About this sound

A short quote from Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, used in edits and memes to add upbeat irony before chaos, disaster or a sudden reveal.

This clip is a brief spoken line saying "What a wonderful day" in a bright, almost satisfied tone. Because it sounds cheerful and calm, it lands best when the visuals say the opposite, turning ordinary mishaps or dramatic moments into a joke. The contrast gives videos a dry, ironic feel, especially in reaction edits, movie memes and short skits. Its short length also makes it easy to drop right before a cut, a crash, or an awkward reveal without interrupting the pacing of the scene.

This sound is associated with Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which was released in 2024. Online, short quotes like this spread because they are easy to reuse in ironic edits, especially when a positive line is paired with visuals of panic, failure or destruction. The clip stays useful because it is short, clear and flexible enough for movie memes, reaction posts and fast punchline timing across short form video platforms.
