About this sound

The TF2 Scout bursts into a loud woo hoho yeah haha laugh, a classic Team Fortress 2 voice line used for funny wins, edits and reaction memes.

The Scout from Team Fortress 2 lets out a fast, high-energy laugh that starts with a sharp woo, rolls into a hoho, and finishes with an excited yeah haha, all delivered in his cocky Boston voice. It lasts just over three seconds, so it lands as a sudden burst of celebration rather than a long speech. The laugh sounds playful, boastful and a little chaotic, like he has just won a fight he probably should not have. In edits it works as an instant punchline, turning a lucky kill, a risky play or an unexpected win into something that feels triumphant and funny at the same time.

Team Fortress 2 is Valve's team-based multiplayer shooter released in 2007, and the Scout is its fast, cocky Boston runner class, known for quick taunts and boastful voice lines. Short clips of his laughter circulated through gameplay videos, YouTube edits and meme soundboards, where the exaggerated woo hoho yeah haha became shorthand for a sudden, smug celebration. It remains popular because the voice is instantly recognisable to players, even without any visuals, and the three-second burst fits neatly at the end of a joke, a kill or a winning moment.
