Shanks is a major pirate in Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece and one of the series’ most recognizable users of Conqueror’s Haki. The label “Shanks first Haki” commonly points to his early confrontation with the sea creature threatening Luffy, when his glare forces it to retreat. That encounter appeared near the beginning of the story, long before the Haki system was fully explained. Short audio versions spread through anime edits and fan videos because they communicate dominance, fear, and hidden strength almost instantly.
