About this sound

A short combined slipping and running sound effect with a sudden skid and hurried movement, used for failed escapes, clumsy chases, and comedy edits.

This clip combines the sound of a sudden slip with rapid running, creating a compact sequence of unstable movement and frantic recovery. The skid suggests someone losing their footing before quickly scrambling away or trying to regain control. Its exaggerated timing gives physical mishaps a playful, cartoon-like energy rather than a serious tone. At just over six seconds, the effect can cover an entire fall-and-escape moment or punctuate a fast visual gag. It works especially well when the viewer can see the mistake develop before hearing the hurried exit.

The original recording source and creator of this combined effect are not documented. Its Spanish filename, “resbalón y correr combinado,” describes the sequence as a slip and run combination. Clips like this circulate through soundboards and short-form edits because they communicate a complete physical gag without dialogue. The transition from lost footing to hurried movement makes it useful for chase scenes, gameplay failures, animated mishaps, and reaction videos. It remains effective because the action is immediately understandable across languages and editing styles.

What is the Slip and Run sound effect?

It is a short effects sequence combining a slipping or skidding noise with the sound of hurried running. Together, the sounds suggest someone losing their footing, recovering, and quickly escaping or continuing a chase.

Where does this slipping and running sound come from?

The clip’s original production source and creator are not documented. Its Spanish filename describes it as a combined slip-and-run effect, and it is commonly suited to soundboard playback, comedy edits, gameplay clips, and physical reaction scenes.
