About this sound

A short metallic pan hit sound effect with a swish and slam feel, used in horror edits, sudden reveals, and exaggerated impact moments.

This clip is a brief impact sound that blends a sharp hit with a swish, whip, and metallic slam texture. It has the feel of a pan or metal object being struck, followed by a dramatic motion effect that makes the moment sound bigger than it is. The tone is strange, tense, and slightly ominous, so it works well for horror stings, jump cuts, or chaotic edits. Because it lands fast and hard, it gives viewers an instant sense of surprise, shock, or comic overreaction depending on the visual timing.

The file metadata labels this as a horror-style film effect made by Epic Sound Effects, combining hit, whip, swish, slam, and scrape elements into one short sting. Rather than being tied to a single famous scene or character, sounds like this spread through editing packs, meme videos, and short-form content because they add instant drama. Its mix of metallic impact and ominous motion makes it useful for both scary moments and intentionally over-the-top comedy edits.
