About this sound

A short clip of Minions laughing in their goofy, high-pitched voices, inspired by the Despicable Me movies and used in funny fail or reaction edits.

This sound is a brief burst of classic Minion laughter, with the squeaky, playful voices people recognise from the Despicable Me films and Minions spin-offs. The laugh feels chaotic, childlike and a little mischievous, which makes it instantly readable in edits. Creators use it to underline silly moments, harmless embarrassment, or scenes where someone is being openly amused by the chaos. Because the clip is short and expressive, it works well as a punchline sound that adds a light, cartoonish tone without needing any extra context.

This laugh is associated with the Minions, the small yellow characters introduced in Despicable Me by Illumination in 2010 and later featured in the Minions films. Their odd language, slapstick behaviour, and exaggerated voices made clips of their laughter easy meme material across short-form video, compilations, and reaction edits. The sound stays popular because it instantly signals goofy mischief and works across many formats, from simple image posts to fast-cut video jokes.
