About this sound

A short crying Minions clip with high-pitched cartoon sobs, used in memes, reaction edits and fake-sad videos when something small goes wrong.

This sound is a very short burst of Minions-style crying, packed with squeaky, exaggerated sobs and a cartoonish sad tone. It lands fast, so it works best as a punchy reaction rather than a long emotional moment. The clip gives off playful misery instead of real heartbreak, which is why people use it when a joke fails, food drops, a game goes badly, or a tiny inconvenience gets treated like a disaster. It makes the scene feel childish, overdramatic and instantly meme-ready without needing any extra setup.

The Minions were introduced in Despicable Me in 2010 and later became the focus of the Minions films, which helped make their voices instantly recognizable online. Short crying clips of the characters are widely reused in meme edits as reaction audio for exaggerated disappointment, sulking and playful self-pity. Even without a clear single viral source for this exact snippet, the sound stays popular because the Minions' squeaky vocal style is easy to recognize and fits fast, humorous edits.
