About this sound

The viral Will Smith "Ahh, that's hot" meme clip from YouTube Rewind 2018, used to react to cool reveals, flashy edits and absurdly good moments.

This sound is the short Will Smith reaction clip where he says, "Ahh, that's hot. That's hot." It has a smooth, approving tone that lands somewhere between impressed and amused, which makes it perfect for punchline edits. The pause before the second line gives it a strong comedic rhythm, so even a simple reveal can feel bigger and funnier. Viewers instantly read it as ironic hype or genuine approval, depending on what you pair it with, which is why it works across memes, gaming clips and reaction videos.

This quote became a meme after appearing in YouTube Rewind 2018, where Will Smith opens the video with the line. The clip spread widely through reaction edits, short meme compilations and reposts on social platforms because it delivers instant approval with a slightly exaggerated tone. It is still used years later for reveal jokes, flex posts and punchline edits, often alongside other big meme stingers like vine boom to make a moment feel extra dramatic.
