This clip is widely recognized from the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, where Brick Tamland, played by Steve Carell, blurts out “Loud noises!” The moment became a long-running reaction meme because the line is brief, quotable and easy to drop into edits.
