About this sound

A short Loquendo text to speech voice clip, known from Spanish internet memes and parody videos. People use it for robotic narration, jokes and shitpost edits.

This sound is a brief Loquendo-style text to speech clip with the flat, robotic delivery that became instantly recognisable in meme culture. The synthetic voice sounds stiff, mechanical and oddly serious, which makes even simple lines feel funnier than they should. Creators use it when they want a fake narrator, an old school YouTube parody feel or a deliberately low-effort comedic tone. Because the voice is so emotionless, it works especially well against chaotic visuals, exaggerated subtitles or absurd story setups where the contrast is the joke.

Loquendo is a speech synthesis brand whose voices became especially popular in Spanish-language internet culture, where creators used them in parody narrations, meme videos and low-budget comedy edits. The style spread widely on YouTube during the late 2000s and 2010s because the voice was easy to recognise and instantly funny when paired with dramatic or ridiculous content. Even short clips still get reused today for nostalgic edits, robotic narration jokes and throwback meme formats built around synthetic speech.
