About this sound

The viral Jet2 holiday audio pairs the “Nothing beats a Jet2holiday” advert voiceover with Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand for travel mishap memes.

This clip features the upbeat Jet2 holiday advert audio associated with the line “Nothing beats a Jet2holiday,” accompanied by Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand. Its sunny, reassuring delivery creates a sharp comic contrast when placed over delayed flights, damaged luggage, bad weather, poolside accidents, or chaotic trips. The polished commercial tone makes an unfortunate moment feel like part of an overly cheerful holiday promotion. That clash between optimism and disaster gives the sound its instantly recognizable punch and makes even minor travel problems seem dramatically funny.

The audio originates from Jet2holidays advertising and features music from Jess Glynne’s 2015 single Hold My Hand. The song became closely associated with the company’s television and travel promotions, alongside the familiar “Nothing beats a Jet2holiday” voiceover. In 2025, the combination spread widely through short-form videos that contrasted its cheerful commercial mood with turbulent flights, holiday accidents, poor weather, and other vacation problems.
