About this sound

A short clip of Jean-Marie Le Pen calling Jeanne au secours in French, used in political memes and reaction edits about panic, trouble or desperation.

This brief French voice clip captures Jean-Marie Le Pen urgently calling, “Jeanne, au secours !” His forceful delivery makes the line sound theatrical and alarmed, even when removed from its original context. The phrase means “Jeanne, help!” or “Jeanne, to the rescue!” in English. Online, the sudden appeal works as an exaggerated reaction to a crisis, failure or uncomfortable situation. Its compact length and emphatic tone let editors punctuate a visual joke without interrupting the pace, while the political association gives the moment an additional layer of satire.

The voice belongs to Jean-Marie Le Pen, the French politician who founded and led the National Front for many years. In the line, Jeanne is understood as a reference to Joan of Arc, a prominent symbol in French nationalist politics. The exact recording, date and original setting of this short extract are not reliably established here. Online, it circulates as a French political reaction meme because the urgent delivery remains understandable without extended context and suits edits built around panic, defeat or appeals for rescue.
