About this sound

A short meme quote saying “Hey Peter” and asking for cheese, used in goofy edits, Family Guy style jokes, and random reaction clips.

This clip is a very short spoken meme sound built around the line “Hey Peter” followed by a silly complaint about missing cheese. The delivery feels exaggerated and a little chaotic, which gives it an absurd punch in under two seconds. Creators use it to interrupt a scene, highlight a weird cutaway, or add a dumb comedic payoff after someone looks confused, hungry, or caught doing something ridiculous. It lands best when the joke is sudden and a bit pointless in the best meme way.

This sound is mainly known online as a short meme quote built around “Hey Peter” and “where my cheese at.” It circulates in reposts, joke compilations, and quick reaction edits where a sudden voice line makes the scene feel more absurd. Its staying power comes from how fast and specific the line is: viewers immediately get the random joke, and creators can drop it over almost any clip involving food, confusion, or cutaway-style humor.
