About this sound

A three-second clip of Carlos Matos chanting “hey, hey, hey” during his viral BitConnect speech, used for loud entrances, comic hype, and chaotic reactions.

This clip captures Carlos Matos loudly repeating “hey” with the booming enthusiasm associated with his famous BitConnect presentation. His stretched delivery rises quickly, turning a simple greeting into an intense burst of excitement. The short runtime makes the audio feel immediate and deliberately excessive, especially when added to an otherwise quiet scene. Viewers familiar with the meme recognize the voice instantly, while others can still read it as an absurdly energetic welcome. It works best when a moment needs sudden hype, exaggerated confidence, or a knowingly chaotic interruption.

The audio comes from Carlos Matos’s famously energetic BitConnect presentation, which became widely shared online during the cryptocurrency platform’s rise in 2017. Clips of his booming greetings and emphatic delivery were cut into remixes, reaction videos, and short meme edits. The repeated “hey” remains useful because it is brief, recognizable, and easy to synchronize with entrances or visual reveals. Its association with exaggerated promotional excitement also gives the clip an ironic edge in videos about questionable ideas or excessive confidence.
