About this sound

The iconic Eminem intro from Without Me, used in memes, comeback edits and reveal videos when someone or something returns in a bold way.

This clip features the instantly recognisable opening line from Eminem's song Without Me: "Guess who's back, back again, Shady's back." It starts with a clean vocal delivery over the track's upbeat production, creating a playful but confident entrance. The sound works so well because it signals a return before the audience even processes the words, so it adds swagger, nostalgia and a little bit of humor. Creators use it when a person, character, habit or trend reappears and they want the moment to feel dramatic, familiar and self-aware.

This sound comes from the opening of Eminem's 2002 hit "Without Me," where he raps the line about Slim Shady being back. The intro became widely reused online because it instantly communicates a comeback with a mix of confidence and irony. It shows up in meme edits, return announcements, fan compilations and nostalgic posts whenever a creator wants to frame someone's reappearance as dramatic or funny. Its staying power comes from how quickly the line is recognised, even from a very short clip.
