About this sound

The famous seagulls saying “mine” from Finding Nemo. People use this clip in memes when a crowd wants the same thing at once.

This sound is the rapid chorus of seagulls squawking “mine, mine, mine” from Finding Nemo. It is short, loud, repetitive, and instantly recognizable, with a chaotic comic rhythm that makes any scene feel greedier and more absurd. Creators use it when several people latch onto one object, trend, snack, or idea at the same time. The repetition turns simple grabbing or claiming behavior into a joke, and it works especially well for edits about mob mentality, copycat behavior, or everyone wanting the exact same thing.

This sound comes from the seagull scene in Pixar's Finding Nemo, where the birds repeatedly cry “mine” while swarming around food. The moment became a widely shared reaction clip because the joke is easy to understand even without context. Online, it spread through meme edits, reposted movie clips, and short reaction videos. It is still popular because it neatly captures greed, groupthink, and the way people pile onto one thing all at once.
