About this sound

The famous 'Mine, mine' seagull sound from Finding Nemo, used in memes and edits when characters act greedy, clingy or swarm around food.

This clip features the rapid, squeaky 'Mine, mine' chant made famous by the hungry seagulls in Finding Nemo. The repeated delivery sounds pushy, needy and a little chaotic, which is why the sound instantly reads as greed, obsession or a crowd fighting over the same thing. In short meme edits, it turns a simple moment into a joke about people claiming ownership, begging for attention or rushing toward anything free. The tone is playful rather than threatening, so it works especially well in light, exaggerated reaction videos.

The sound comes from the seagulls in Pixar's Finding Nemo, released in 2003. Their repeated 'Mine' call became a widely recognized quote from the film and later spread through soundboards, short meme edits and reposted clip compilations. People still use it because the meaning is instantly clear even without context: someone wants something and everyone else wants it too. That simple greedy-group joke keeps the clip useful across reaction videos, gaming posts and everyday social media memes.
