About this sound

A short clip from Mo-Do's 1994 Eurodance hit Eins Zwei Polizei, featuring its German counting chant for dance edits, throwbacks, and comic memes.

This clip captures the instantly recognizable counting hook from Eins Zwei Polizei, a fast, playful Eurodance track performed by Mo-Do. The vocal moves through German numbers before landing on the rhyming word “Polizei,” backed by a driving electronic beat. Its rigid rhythm and chant-like delivery make the excerpt feel both catchy and slightly absurd. In videos, it can create a sudden burst of 1990s club energy, emphasize counting or repetition, or turn an ordinary entrance and reveal into a knowingly exaggerated dance moment.

Eins Zwei Polizei was released in 1994 by Mo-Do, the stage name associated with Italian performer Fabio Frittelli. Although created by an Italian Eurodance act, the track uses German lyrics built around numbers and simple rhymes. It became a major European dance hit during the 1990s and later found renewed life in online edits, nostalgic club compilations, and short-form memes. The easily remembered counting refrain remains useful because listeners can recognize it quickly, even when only a few seconds of the song are played.
