A short “But wait, there’s more” voice clip used for joke reveals and infomercial-style edits, often tagged as a Scary Movie meme online.

This sound is a brief spoken line, “But wait, there’s more,” delivered with the kind of upbeat, sales-pitch timing people recognize from infomercials and parody ads. The pause after the first phrase makes the payoff land harder, so it works well when a video suddenly piles on one more twist, feature, or absurd problem. Even in under three seconds, it creates a teasing setup that tells viewers something extra, unexpected, or increasingly ridiculous is about to appear on screen.

This phrase is widely recognized from the language of TV infomercials, where hosts tease extra bonuses or added features to keep viewers watching. Online, the clip spread as a meme shorthand for escalation: one reveal happens, then another tops it immediately. Search interest also connects it with Scary Movie meme uploads, which helped keep the line circulating on soundboards, short edits, and reaction posts. Its staying power comes from how quickly it signals, in plain words, that the joke is about to get bigger.
