A short clip of French comedian Francois Damiens saying 'donnez nous', used as a reaction sound for asking, begging or demanding something in memes and videos.

This three-second clip captures Francois Damiens delivering the French phrase donnez nous in a direct, insistent voice that instantly sounds like a demand rather than a polite request. The delivery is short and punchy, with a rising urgency that makes the words feel larger than their literal meaning, so listeners hear comedy in the exaggeration even without knowing the full context. That is why it works as a reaction sound: it turns a simple ask into a dramatic plea, and the familiar French wording adds a playful, slightly theatrical edge that stands out in short videos, edits and meme replies.

The clip is circulated online under the name of Belgian comedian Francois Damiens, whose direct, deadpan delivery has made short French lines easy to reuse as reactions. While the exact original sketch is not clearly documented in the listing, the phrase donnez nous, meaning give us, is instantly readable as a demand, which helps it travel across language barriers in short-form video. Creators keep returning to it because it is brief, recognisable and immediately sets up a joke about wanting something, whether that is food, attention, money or help.
