A French comedy clip by François Pérusse warning not to contradict them, from his Quebec radio sketches, used as a deadpan reaction to stubborn people.

This three-second French clip captures François Pérusse delivering the phrase ne pas les contrarier in his trademark rapid, deadpan Quebec delivery, with the words landing flat and matter-of-fact rather than shouted. The humour comes from that restraint: it sounds like weary advice from someone who has given up arguing, not a punchline delivered for laughs. Played over a stubborn argument, a bad idea, or a person who cannot be reasoned with, it instantly frames the moment as futile, letting listeners laugh at the absurdity of trying to win while the speaker simply steps aside.

François Pérusse is a Quebec comedian best known for Les 2 minutes du peuple, a series of short, fast-paced radio sketches built on wordplay, absurd logic, and deadpan delivery. Lines from those sketches have long been quoted and clipped by French-speaking listeners, and ne pas les contrarier survives as a compact piece of that humour: a resigned warning not to argue with people who will not change their minds. Its brevity makes it easy to reuse, and its calm tone lets it work as a reaction without needing the original sketch for context.
