The classic Nokia ringtone sound, based on the famous mobile phone tune people use in memes, fake call edits and nostalgic old phone moments.

This clip features the instantly recognizable Nokia phone ringtone, a short, bright melody associated with classic mobile phones from the late 1990s and 2000s. It has a clean, simple electronic tone that cuts through a video right away, making viewers think of an incoming call from an old handset. Because so many people heard it for years, the sound carries a strong nostalgic effect and works well in comedy, retro edits and scenes where you want to signal a sudden phone interruption without needing any dialogue.

The Nokia tune is one of the most recognizable mobile phone sounds ever. Its melody comes from Francisco Tárrega's guitar piece Gran Vals, and Nokia used an excerpt as a ringtone across many phones in the 1990s and 2000s. As older handsets became nostalgic online, the sound spread through meme edits, retro tech posts and parody phone-call scenes. It still gets used because people recognize it immediately, even from a very short snippet, and connect it with classic mobile culture.
