關於此聲音

A short Rick Astley clip tied to the classic rickroll meme, used in prank edits, bait-and-switch videos and nostalgic internet joke posts.

This sound is a brief Rick Astley clip most people recognize from the rickroll meme. It has that polished late-80s pop feel, with Astley's instantly familiar voice and upbeat energy that makes the reveal feel playful instead of harsh. In edits, the joke lands the second listeners realize what is playing, turning an ordinary intro, fake link or dramatic setup into a bait-and-switch punchline. Because the clip is so widely known online, it quickly signals irony, nostalgia and a deliberately cheesy sense of humor.

Rick Astley is the singer most closely associated with the internet prank known as rickrolling, built around his 1987 hit "Never Gonna Give You Up." The meme became widespread in the mid-2000s when misleading links redirected people to the song's video. Since then, short Rick Astley clips have stayed popular across YouTube, Discord and social posts because the joke is instantly understood by several generations of internet users. It remains a go-to audio for harmless bait-and-switch humor and retro meme edits.
