The Phase 5 sound from the Mr Incredible Becoming Uncanny meme, with dark, distorted music for the moment the character turns truly uncanny.

This short clip is the Phase 5 moment from the Mr Incredible Becoming Uncanny series, where a once cheerful character has crossed into something deeply unsettling. The music sounds warped and slowed, its bright melody bent into a low, dissonant drone with a hollow, echoing quality that feels wrong rather than simply loud. There is no dialogue to explain the shift, so the distortion itself carries the joke and the dread. Played over a face that has become stranger and more shadowed, it makes a viewer pause, laugh nervously, and expect something worse to follow.

The format features Mr Incredible, the Pixar hero from The Incredibles, shown in a series of increasingly distorted images that move from familiar and cheerful to deeply unsettling. Creators on TikTok and YouTube built short phase videos around those images, pairing each stage with music that grew darker and more warped as the character changed. Phase 5 sits in that unsettling middle stretch, after the character has clearly stopped looking normal but before the most extreme transformations. Its continued use comes from that instant readability: one warped sting tells viewers the edit is about to get stranger.
