About this sound

A short "Welcome Raiders" clip used in livestreams and meme edits when a raid arrives, or to jokingly greet a sudden crowd in chat.

This sound is a brief spoken "Welcome Raiders" greeting, delivered like a stream alert or chat shout-out. It has the upbeat, slightly performative tone people use when a livestream gets raided and a new wave of viewers suddenly appears. Because the line is short and clear, it works well as a punchy intro for clips about surprise arrivals, chaotic group entrances, or ironic overreactions to even a tiny audience. The effect is instantly social: it makes the moment feel like a public welcome, whether used sincerely or as part of a joke.

This clip is mainly recognized from livestream culture, where creators welcome incoming viewers after a raid from another channel. Short spoken raid greetings spread widely beyond live platforms because they fit reaction edits, gaming montages, and chat-based memes. The phrase stays useful because it is instantly understandable even without context: a crowd has arrived, and someone is acknowledging it. Its popularity comes less from a single famous source and more from how often raid moments are clipped, shared, and remixed online.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Welcome Raiders sound?

It is a short voice clip saying "Welcome Raiders," usually used like a stream alert or greeting. Creators drop it into edits when a group arrives at once, especially in livestream, gaming, or chat-based jokes.

Where is the Welcome Raiders sound from?

This phrase is most closely associated with livestream raid culture rather than one clearly documented movie or meme source. Streamers commonly say it when another channel sends viewers over, and clipped versions spread into short-form edits.

Most people use it at the exact moment a crowd appears, chat speeds up, or multiple characters enter at once. It also works ironically when almost nobody shows up, making a tiny moment feel much bigger than it really is.
