About this sound

A short Russian intro clip saying, "Hi everyone, my name is Sasha and I am a voice announcer." Often used in memes, edits and playful self-intros.

This sound is a very short Russian spoken intro where a male voice says, “Vsem privet, menya zovut Sasha i ya diktor,” meaning “Hi everyone, my name is Sasha and I am a voice announcer.” It has a clean, presenter-like delivery that makes it sound formal for a split second, which is exactly why people use it as a joke. The contrast between the polished introduction and whatever chaotic, awkward or low-budget video follows gives the clip its comic effect in memes and short edits.

This audio circulates online as a short Russian meme intro built around the line “Menya zovut Sasha.” It is commonly reposted in short-form edits, chat shares and soundboards, where creators use it as a humorous setup before an unexpected reveal or awkward moment. The clip stays popular because the delivery sounds neat and professional, while the videos paired with it usually are not. Search interest also shows people looking for it by the phrase itself and by “menya zovut” meme variations rather than a clearly identified original source.
