About this sound

The UT99 announcer declares “Congratulations, you are the winner” in this Unreal Tournament victory clip, used for gaming wins and comic reveals.

This short UT99 voice clip delivers the line, “Congratulations, you are the winner,” in the firm, celebratory style associated with Unreal Tournament’s announcer. Its clear wording and compact three-second length make the result instantly understandable, even outside a gameplay context. For viewers familiar with classic arena shooters, the delivery adds an immediate layer of late-1990s PC gaming nostalgia.

UT99 is common shorthand for Unreal Tournament, the arena first-person shooter released in 1999. The game uses prominent announcer callouts to mark match events and reinforce its competitive presentation.
