About this sound

A short Undertaker-style gong clip associated with the WWE wrestler's entrance, often used in memes, edits and dramatic reveal moments.

This clip is the familiar deep gong associated with The Undertaker, the iconic WWE character. It hits with a low, heavy metallic tone followed by a dark, ominous ring that instantly changes the mood of a video. Even in a very short clip, it creates a sudden sense of dread, surprise or over-the-top seriousness. Creators use it when someone enters a scene like a final boss, when a joke needs a dramatic punchline, or when they want a wrestling-style shock moment that viewers recognize right away.

This sound is tied to The Undertaker, one of WWE's most recognizable wrestlers, whose entrance music and signature gong became part of his character presentation after his debut in 1990. Over time, the gong escaped wrestling broadcasts and spread into meme culture, where editors use it as a shorthand for menace, dominance or sudden dramatic tension. It remains popular because even a very short clip is instantly recognizable to many viewers and delivers a clean, theatrical cue without needing any setup.
