This sound is the famous Uh Oh Stinky clip, a goofy voice performance built around the words "uh oh, stinky" and repeated poop jokes. It has a silly, chant-like rhythm and an intentionally childish tone that makes it instantly absurd. The humor comes from how dramatically it treats something so immature, which is why it lands well in cursed edits, bait-and-switch memes, and lowbrow reaction posts. Even people who do not know the original clip usually recognize the joke format as soon as the first line starts.

Uh Oh Stinky spread online as a meme from a monkey puppet video that became widely reposted in the late 2010s. It stayed popular through remix culture, bass-boosted versions, and reaction compilations, often appearing alongside other exaggerated meme cues like the shocked sound. Its staying power comes from being short, dumb, and immediately understandable without any setup.
