Tung tung sahur

A viral Southeast Asian Ramadan wake-up chant sound reused heavily in TikTok brainrot memes for rhythmic chaos humor, absurd loops, and ironic celebration edits.

Tung Tung Sahur is a very short meme clip built around the repeated "tung tung" knocking or drumming sound followed by "sahur," the pre-dawn meal during Ramadan. The rhythm is blunt, catchy and instantly recognizable, which is why it works so well in fast joke edits. It usually lands like a sudden wake-up cue or a comic interruption, giving videos a chaotic, sleep-deprived energy. Even in under a second, it signals nighttime, urgency and a playful sense of being summoned out of nowhere.
