About this sound

A short music clip linked with Trollface meme edits and rage comic humor. People use it for bait-and-switch jokes, smug reveals, and classic troll moments.

This sound is a brief musical sting commonly paired with the Trollface meme, the grinning face used to signal a prank, trick, or smug punchline. The clip has a recognisable meme feel that instantly changes the mood from normal to suspicious, as if a joke is about to land. Creators drop it right before or during a reveal to make the moment feel knowingly annoying, ironic, or mischievous. Even without dialogue, it tells viewers that someone is getting trolled and helps sell the payoff in short edits.

Trollface is one of the most recognizable internet meme faces, first associated with rage comics and trolling humor in the late 2000s. This kind of Trollface music spread through meme videos, reposted edits, and short-form clips where creators needed an instant signal that the joke was a bait-and-switch. Its popularity comes from how quickly viewers understand the setup: once the music hits, the clip is no longer sincere. It is still used because the visual joke and the audio cue remain easy to recognize across meme formats.
