About this sound

This sarcastic taunt line became a meme sound for sudden pranks and ironic surprise moments. Used in TikTok edits and reaction videos to exaggerate quick chaos humor.

This sound is the famous "Think fast, chucklenuts" line delivered in Scout's cocky Boston accent from Team Fortress 2. The clip is short, sharp and taunting, with a playful but aggressive tone that makes the moment feel like a setup right before impact. People use it when a joke is about to land, a character gets instantly punished, or a video cuts to someone being hit by an object. It works because the phrase sounds smug and fast, so viewers immediately expect a sudden payoff.

This quote is associated with Scout from Valve's Team Fortress 2 and became widely reused in online gaming culture through TF2 videos, memes and voice line compilations. Its staying power comes from how clearly it telegraphs an incoming gag or attack in just a few words. Creators still use it in the same broad meme space as the bruh meme and the FAIL SOUND MEME, especially for bait-and-payoff edits where someone is about to get instantly embarrassed.
