About this sound

The classic round-end announcer line from Counter-Strike, used in memes, gaming edits and fail clips when the bad outcome wins or a plan goes wrong.

This clip is the familiar Counter-Strike announcer line declaring that the terrorist team has won the round. It is a short, clean voice cue with the blunt, game-like delivery players instantly recognize from end-of-round screens. Because the phrase lands so fast, creators use it as a punchline after a failed challenge, a betrayal, or any moment where the wrong side comes out on top. It gives a clip an instant competitive-game feel and adds a darkly funny sense of defeat, reversal, or total mission failure.

This sound comes from the Counter-Strike series, where an announcer states the winning side at the end of a round. Online, the line spread beyond the game because it neatly sums up any moment where success flips into defeat. It remains popular in short edits, streamer compilations, and gaming memes because even people who never played Counter-Strike often recognize the phrase from years of reposts and highlight videos.
