About this sound

A short laughing voice clip from a Scav in Escape from Tarkov, often used in gaming edits, fail clips and moments where an enemy mocks you.

This sound is a brief, rough laugh from a Scav, the hostile AI faction in Escape from Tarkov. It has a taunting, slightly unhinged tone that instantly feels like an enemy has spotted you, outplayed you or is enjoying your bad luck. Because the laugh is so recognizable to Tarkov players, it works well as a reaction sound for missed shots, loot disasters and sudden deaths. Even outside Tarkov clips, creators use it to add a grimy, sarcastic kind of mockery that lands fast without needing any explanation.

This clip comes from Escape from Tarkov, the hardcore extraction shooter developed by Battlestate Games. Scavs are the game's common AI enemies, and their voice lines, laughs and shouts became memorable parts of the Tarkov experience for players. Short Scav audio clips spread through Twitch highlights, YouTube edits and Discord memes because they instantly signal panic, danger or humiliation in a firefight. The laugh remains popular because even a very short snippet can communicate that classic feeling of being mocked by the game itself.
