About this sound

A quick "sike, sike" voice meme clip used to fake people out, reverse a claim or add a joking gotcha moment in reaction edits and prank videos.

This sound is a short voice clip repeating “sike, sike” in a taunting, playful way. It lands like a fast take-back, the kind of audio people add right after a fake reveal, a false promise or an obvious bait-and-switch. The delivery gives the moment a smug, joking edge rather than sounding serious, which makes it work well in memes, reaction posts and light prank edits. Viewers instantly read it as a verbal rug-pull, so the joke feels clear even when the clip is only a few seconds long.

This clip is used online as a reaction sound built around the slang term “sike,” often spelled “psych,” which people say when they immediately take back a statement or reveal a joke. On short-form video platforms and soundboards, the repeated delivery spread because it creates an instant bait-and-switch feeling without needing extra context. It stays popular in meme editing because the meaning is obvious, the timing is simple to use, and it fits both pranks and sarcastic reaction posts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Sike Sike sound mean?

It signals a joke reversal. Creators use it after a fake statement, fake offer or misleading setup to show that the previous moment was bait and the real outcome is different.

Is this sound used more for memes or pranks?

Both. It fits prank clips because it mimics a verbal fake-out, and it also works in meme edits where the joke depends on a sudden switch from expectation to reality.

How should I edit with the Sike Sike clip?

Use it right after the audience thinks something good, dramatic or surprising is about to happen. A sharp cut, reaction face or sudden zoom makes the fake-out clearer and keeps the joke from feeling late.
